Tuesday night in CBB will see the Arkansas Razorbacks travel to Lexington, Kentucky to take on the 2nd ranked Kentucky Wildcats. The game is scheduled for a 9:00 pm tipoff and will be televised live on ESPN as part of Super Tuesday. Currently Kentucky is favored by 16.5 points with the total being set at 148 for this game. The second-ranked Kentucky Wildcats will try to extend their winning streak to 10 games in a row tonight as they host the Arkansas Razorbacks in a Southeastern Conference battle at Rupp Arena.

Free Analysis: Arkansas's 13-4 overall record has given it its best start since the 2007-2008 campaign as first-year head coach Mike Anderson has infused a winning attitude back into the program. The Razorbacks improved to 2-1 in SEC play with a 69-60 win over LSU on Saturday, which was their eighth win in nine outings. B.J. Young and Mardracus Wade will lead the upset attempt tonight. Young might be the best rookie in the conference and has been excellent as of late, averaging 18.5 ppg on 60-percent shooting from the field. Wade's ability to spread the floor with his accuracy is extremely valuable to the Razorbacks. The sophomore guard is leading the SEC with a three-point shooting percentage of 49.3, after knocking down 3-of-4 from long range on his way to 14 points his last time out. Hunter Mickelson made a huge impact on the defensive end his last time out. The freshman forward recorded his second seven-block outing of the year against LSU. The Razorbacks come in averaging 76.9 ppg (35th) on 44.2% shooting (1522nd), while permitting teams just 65.5 ppg (139th) on 39.1% shooting (32nd). Arkansas has dropped eight straight at Rupp Arena and shot 34.7 percent in going 0-3 on the road this season. Kentucky is back home for the first time since a 79-64 win over South Carolina on Jan. 7 in its SEC opener.John Calipari has won 45 straight at Rupp Arena since taking over the helm, which is the longest home-winning streak in the nation. Kentucky survived a close call with Tennessee its last time out, as it won 65-62 to make its overall record 17-1 and its SEC mark a perfect 3-0. Kentucky has outscored its opponents by a league-best 20.4 ppg this season, The Wildcats' high-powered offense is ranked second in the league with an average of 79.3 ppg, on a conference leading 48.3 percent shooting from the field, plus the Cats are atop the SEC standings in rebounding margin and blocked shots as well. This is a complete team. The offense is not the only strong suit for this team as they have played excellent defense this year, allowing just 58.9 ppg (22nd) on 35.6% shooting (2nd) and they have really had a block party behind Anthony Davis' NCAA leading average of 4.6 per game. Davis is just one block away from the program's single season record of 83. Now despite the 20.4 ppg scoring margin the Cats have gone just 1-12-1 ATS on the year, including 0-3 in the SEC. This will be the 33rd meeting between Arkansas and Kentucky. The Wildcats hold a 24-8 advantage in the rivalry. The Razorbacks ended a 10-game losing streak to Kentucky last season with an overtime victory, but have gone just 2-11 in Lexington all-time with their last victory in Rupp Arena coming during the 1993-1994 season.

Free Pick: The Cats have outscored their opponents by 20.4 ppg on the year, but they have still gone just 1-12-1 ATS in those games. Within the SEC they are 0-3 ATS and have yet to beat an opponent by more than 15. In their last 2 games they were able to beat Tennessee by just 3 points and they had a slime 1 point lead on Auburn with about 7 minutes left before blowing the game open, plus a few games ago they trailed at the half, at home, to Ark Little Rock. Tonight they will be facing one of the better teams they will have faced this year and I just don't see how they can cover this huge number. Arkansas comes in at 13-4 on the year and they have had struggles on the road (0-3), but they are still a team that is playing very well right now, with enough offense to keep this one. The Cats really haven't shown a killer instinct this year and I don't feel that they will be able to blow out an improved Hogs team here.
