The Miami Hurricanes are taking on the Syracuse Orange in the second round of the ACC Tournament on Wednesday. The game is scheduled for a noon start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The college basketball odds for the game have the Hurricanes listed as a small favorite to pick up the win.
College Basketball Odds
Miami and Syracuse are playing in the 8-9 matchup in the ACC with the winner advancing to take on top-seeded North Carolina in the quarterfinals. Both teams should find their way to the NCAA Tournament, but picking up a win here by either squad would certainly be important for their overall resume.
Syracuse under Jim Boeheim seems to always play well in these conference tournaments and they need to get back into a good rhythm after dropping four of the last six games overall to end the regular season.
Miami had won four straight recently, but lost each of the last two games in the regular season to Virginia Tech and Florida State, a pair of road games. Both of those contests were low-scoring, which is something we should expect in this one as well. Syracuse won the first matchup between these two clubs back in early January, but that game was played inside the Carrier Dome.
But with both teams struggling toward the end of the season, turnovers and rebounding will be key.
