The North Carolina Tar Heels are hosting the Duke Blue Devils in college basketball action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for an 8:15 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The college basketball odds for the game have the Tar Heels favored to pick up the win in this rivalry matchup.

The best rivalry in college basketball takes center stage again tonight, this time in the Dean Dome. In the first meeting between these schools Duke found a way to pick up the win at home, Grayson Allen had a big game and finished with 25 points, Luke Kennard tossed in 20 for the Blue Devils. Allen and Amile Jefferson were both banged up earlier this week and could be game-time decisions in this one.

North Carolina has a chance to wrap up the ACC regular season title with a win here tonight. They’re a game ahead of Notre Dame in the loss column and certainly want to rebound from a poor performance against Virginia earlier this week.

The Heels had just 43 points against Virginia on Monday. The Cavaliers slow everyone down and Duke obviously isn’t going to play at that pace. North Carolina is a considerably better team than that and on a night where they honor their seniors (yes, North Carolina has seniors) this one should see some points scored.

The betting public may be betting the over here but it looks like the right play.
