Saturday night college Basketball and we will see the UCLA Bruins travel to the McKale Center to take on the Arizona Wildcats. The game has a start time of 9:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ESPN. Current Vegas betting odds have Arizona listed as 14 point favorites, while the total is set at 140.  

Analysis:  The UCLA Bruins come in off a tough 2 point loss to Arizona State on Wednesday night, but still this is a team that has been playing better of late as they have won 5 of their last 7 games overall. For the year UCLA is 16-11 overall and 8-6 within the Pac-12. The Bruins have gone 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record, but just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games. The Bruins have been a solid offensive team this year, as they come in ranked 83rd in scoring (71.3 ppg), 222nd in shooting (42.7%), 133rd in 3 point shooting (35.1%) and 270th in FT shooting (66.3%). Defensively the Bruins have not been all that good as they come in ranked 225th in points allowed (68.2 ppg), 122nd in defensive FG% (41.7%) and 228th in 3 point defense (34.8%).    

The Arizona Wildcats come in having won 3 in a row, including a 30 point home win over USC in their last game played. The Wildcats are now 23-3 overall and tied atop the Pac-12 conference with Utah at 11-2. The Cats will be looking for revenge after losing 75-71 to UCLA earlier in the year.  Arizona has gone 21-5 ATS in their last 26 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 8-1 ATS in their last 9 vs. the Pac-12. The Wildcats have been a very good offensive team this year, ranking 24th in scoring (76.3 ppg), 6th in shooting (49.6%), 110th in 3 point shooting (35.7%) and 194th in FT shooting (68.6%). Defensively the Wildcats have been very good this year, ranking 21st in points allowed (59.2 ppg), 49th in defensive FG% (39.7%) and 101st in 3 point defense (32.5%).

Pick: I am going with the Under in this one. The Bruins have had troubles scoring on the road this year and i don't see that changing all that much vs an Arizona squad that has allowed just 58.6 ppg in their last 5 games and 55.6 ppg at home. Defensively the Bruins have really played well of late as they have allowed just 64.2 ppg in their last 5 games and they should do enough to keep a solid Arizona offense from going crazy in this one. I see a 72-58 type score here.
