The Stanford Cardinal travel to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils tonight in Pac 12 College Basketball action. The game is scheduled for an 11:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX Sports 1. Currently the College Basketball Betting Odds for the game have Arizona State favored by a small margin to get the win.

Stanford is firmly on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament and a loss here tonight against Arizona State would be a huge blow. The Cardinal are 9-7 in conference play so far this season and are actually underdogs in this one tonight, which is a bit surprising. Stanford absolutely needs to pick up a win here because a loss would probably be too detrimental to their overall resume.

Arizona State has not had a good season, sporting just a 15-14 record on the season. ASU has dropped two straight games overall to Utah by 42 points and Colorado by eight — but both were on the road. Tonight's game will see Stanford look to sweep the season series with the Sun Devils, winning the first game by 19 points back in January.

The Cardinal shot better than 58 percent from the floor in that game, having four starters finish with double digits, led by Chasson Randle and Anthony Brown with 21 points. Stefan Nastic added 20 points. While Stanford might not get the same type of balanced scoring in this one, but they absolutely need this one.

Despite doing just 4-5 since beating Arizona State the first time, look for the Cardinal to come out and pick up a road win in this one.
