The Indiana Hoosiers welcome in the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Big Ten College Basketball action tonight. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on the Big Ten Network. Currently the College Basketball Betting Odds for the game have the Hoosiers favored by a couple of buckets in this game today.

There's a bit of a trend in today's Big Ten play with all four games having some type of NCAA Tournament vibe to them. Indiana is probably in the tournament if it was to start today, but Tom Crean's team needs to continue winning in order to cement their spot in the Big Dance. Indiana is just a couple of bucket favorite in this game tonight which is a bit strange as Minnesota has pretty much played themselves off the bubble at least for now.

The Golden Gophers have won three straight games overall, most recently beating Iowa on the road. They still have to play Wisconsin a couple of times this year along with a road game at Michigan State, so potential wins there could put Minnesota back in the potential bubble zone. 

Indiana can score a ton of points. They've alternated wins and losses the last five games and haven't been consistent enough. Yet, each of the final six games of the year for the Hoosiers are winnable, which should be able to get them into the tournament. Yogi Ferrell has played very well this season and is complemented nicely by freshman Justin Blackmon. The duo are the second highest scoring tandem in the conference behind Nebraska's Petteway-Shields combination. 

Home games have been great for Indiana, winning 14 of their 15 games at Assembly Hall this season. The Golden Gophers have won just twice in their seven road games, but most recently won at Iowa. It'll be tough to pick up a win over Indiana in this one and Indiana needs to pick up another win to help their tournament resume. Minnesota has too much work to do in order to play their way into the tournament and a win here would obviously help, but too much Indiana here tonight.
