Analysis:  The Marquette Golden Eagles come in having won 5 of their last 6 games to push their season record to 9-5 overall, but they are 0-2 in true road games thus far.  The Golden Eagles are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall, but just 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 vs. Big East. Marquette has been decent offensive squad this year, ranking 137th in scoring (70.0 ppg), 54th in shooting (46.4%), 187th in 3 point shooting (33.6%) and 208th in FT shooting (67.5%). The defense for this team has rather average, ranking 142nd in points allowed (64.4 ppg), 205th in defensive FG% (42.2%) and 148th in 3 point defense (32.5%).  

The Georgetown Hoyas come in having won 4 of their last 5 games to put their record at 9-4 on the year, which includes a 7-1 mark at home. The Hoyas are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 home games, but just 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win. Georgetown has been a good offensive team this year, ranking 64th in scoring (73.5 ppg), 33rd in shooting (48.0%), 129th in 3 point shooting (35.5%) and 193rd in FT shooting (68.2%). Defensively the Hoyas have been average as they come in ranked 173rd in points allowed (65.6 ppg), 66th in defensive FG% (39.2%) and 146th in 3 point defense (32.5%). 

Pick:  Georgetown may win this game, but I don't think it will be that easy. This is a very underrated Marquette team that plays well and won't get blown out all that often. Both teams are even at both ends of the floor and the last 4 in this series has been decided by 8 points or less. I just can't see the Hoyas running away with this one in what should be another tight battle between Big East foes.
