The Indiana Hoosiers are on the road tonight in Big Ten College Basketball action when they take on the Northwestern Wildcats. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on the Big Ten Network. Currently the College Basketball Betting Odds for the game have the Hoosiers favored by a bucket to get the road win.

Indiana has not been a very good team on the road this year, which has kept them from being a potential first or second seed in the Big Ten. Five of Indiana's losses this season have come on the road in conference play, but the Hoosiers are still 9-6 in league play. A win here or there and they'd be right in the thick of things for the conference title. 

Tonight the Hoosiers can't overlook Northwestern. The Wildcats have won three straight games overall, two of which came at home over Iowa in overtime and Penn State most recently. The Wildcats played excellent defense against Penn State, allowing the Nittany Lions to score only 39 points and miss 40 shots from the field. 

The Wildcats have spoiler on their minds and a victory here over Indiana would certainly help their cause. Northwestern isn't going to the NCAA Tournament unless they miraculously win the Big Ten Tournament, which obviously seems like near impossible. But if they can take some teams down with them as they move along, that should help.

Indiana has to get solid games from both Yogi Ferrell and Justin Blackmon Jr. The duo average better than 32 points per game on average and both shoot better than 40 percent from downtown. Getting out in transition will be a key to Indiana's success tonight and if they can knock down shots they win tonight.
