The Toronto Blue Jays are hosting the Cleveland Indians tonight in Major League Baseball action. The game is scheduled for a 7:07 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on MLB.tv as well as in both markets. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Blue Jays favored at home to get the victory.
Toronto has been red hot as they've sprinted to the second-best record in the American League. Winners of eight of their last 10 overall and three straight, Toronto still leads the American League East by a game and a half while owning the best run differential in the entire league.
The Blue Jays are +193 in that run differential, almost 100 runs better than the next team in line. They've been lights out at home this season and are hosting a Cleveland team that actually has fared well on the road. The Jays just swept Detroit out of town by blasting a ton of homers.
Great pitching matchup tonight between Danny Salazar and David Price. Salazar is 11-7 with a 3.30 ERA while Price enters the game at 13-4 with a 2.42 ERA. Current Blue Jays are hitting .286 against Salazar in just 21 at bats, Chris Colabello and Edwin Encarnacion have both homered. They're the only two players with multiple hits against him as well. Encarnacion is clobbering pitching right now, hitting .409 during a 25-game hit streak with 11 home runs and 35 RBI.
Price has allowed Indians to hit .275 against him in 182 at bats. Ryan Raburn and Lonnie Chisenhall both have a home run against him, Raburn and Mike Aviles both own the most hits with nine off the lefty.
Price has bene lights out at the Rogers Centre in his career, though. He owns an 8-0 record with a 3.54 ERA in 11 starts there. He's also dominated Cleveland in his career, going 9-1 with a 2.04 ERA in 12 starts.

Vegas betting expert Steve Fezzik doesn’t expect the bad situation in Oakland to get much better this season. This AFC West team may have some improvements in terms of personnel, but Jack Del Rio is the latest in a carousel of ever-changing mediocre coaches, and Fezzik doesn’t expect he is the guy to turn this team around. He also thinks people are overstating Derek Carr’s abilities at quarterback, as he may do well in the fourth quarter, but his numbers are padded with garbage time performance.
