Clemson Tigers at Florida State Seminoles College Football Picks, Start Time, Odds

The Florida State Seminoles are hosting the Clemson Tigers tonight in college football action. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ABC. The college football odds for the game have the Tigers favored to pick up the victory on the road in ACC play.

College Football Odds
Clemson -4.5
Total: 60 points

Clemson has another chance to pick up a statement win on the schedule here. The Seminoles opened the season ranked inside the Top 5 but have suffered a couple of losses and fallen back in the pack. They’re catching points here against a very talented Clemson team that wants to get to the college football playoff.

Florida State could potentially get there as well, even with two losses, but it would have to win here and need some help down the stretch. It would be interesting to see a two-loss team reach the playoffs and Florida State, if it finds a way to win the remainder of its games, could be there.

Deshaun Watson and Dalvin Cook were both on preseason Heisman lists but each has kind of fallen off. That might be due to the emergence of Louisville QB Lamar Jackson, who has taken the country by storm with his stellar play. Both Watson and Cook will be counted on tonight by their respective teams to have big games, but only Watson will have the football in his hands every offensive play.

Florida State is a home dog for the first time since 2011. They’ll take this as some disrespect and rally at home to pull the upset.
