The Washington Huskies will look to halt their three games slide tonight when they welcome Pac 12 North doormat California to Huskey Stadium. This evening's showdown between the Huskies and Golden Bears is scheduled to kickoff at 11:00pm ET on FOX Sports 1. Washington just completed what might be the most difficult three game stretch any team will face this season, and, unfortunately for Steve Sarkisian's squad, it did not fare as well as it might have hoped.

The Huskies suffered a 28-31 loss at Stanford, a 24-45 setback against Oregon, and a 24-53 loss at Arizona State in three consecutive weekends. Prior to that daunting slate Washington had knocked off Boise State, Illinois, Idaho State, and Arizona by an average of 29 points per game.

Tonight's meeting with California should more closely the Huskies first four games with the Golden Bears looking like the Pac-12's weakest link.

California may turn the corner in the next year or two under new head coach Sonny Dykes, but right now it is turning stomachs with its horrendous play.

The Bears are 1-6 on the season and they are giving away points and yards by the bushel full. Cal currently ranks 123rd in total defense with a 525.4 yards per game allowed average and only New Mexico State is giving up more points per contest than the Bears (44.4 ppga).

Those numbers point toward Washington's offense, which lost some of its footing the last three weekends, rediscovering its mojo this evening.

The Huskies defense should find itself as well with Dykes' Bear Raid offense churning out an unimpressive 16.3 points per game in conference play.

Notable Trends: Washington is 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread in its last five games as a home favorite with a total of 54.5 or more points.
