Purdue hasn't played since winning at Northwestern on Sunday evening. The Boilermakers have been very consistent this season and will have to play well defensively against a sharp-shooting Michigan team that excels with the basketball. Michigan ranks fifth-best in the country in adjusted offensive efficiency numbers, averaging 1.21 points per possession. The Boilers are Top 25 in both offensive and defensive numbers in that category.
This Michigan team feels like the squad that makes a run in the conference tournament and finds its way to the title game. They are the lone team to beat Purdue dating back to the beginning of February. The Boilers are 7-1 in that span.
