Big Ten Tournament Ohio State Buckeyes vs Minnesota Golden Gophers Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The Ohio State Buckeyes and Minnesota Golden Gophers meet up tonight in the final game of the Big Ten Tournament. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Currently the College Basketball Betting Odds for the game have Ohio State as a small favorite to pick up the win.

Ohio State comes into tonight's game with a 22-9 record overall, 11-7 in the Big Ten. Minnesota just won their opening-round game over lowly Rutgers but has lost five of their last six games prior to that.

These teams met up just once this season with the Buckeyes claiming a 74-72 overtime win. D'Angelo Russell scored 27 points in that game for the Buckeyes in one of many games where the freshman from Louisville proved he belongs among the best in the country. Russell was named to the Big Ten First Team and was an obvious selection to the freshmen team, averaging better than 19 points, five rebounds and five assists per game.

Minnesota will look to Andre Hollins to try and slow down the freshman, but that's going to be tough to do.

Ohio State got torched in their last game, dropping the regular season finale to Wisconsin by 24 points despite being on their own floor. The Buckeyes have to get over that loss and with Thad Matta, there's little doubt that Ohio State will be ready.

The Golden Gophers played well in the win over Rutgers, but it's going to be rough going against a Buckeyes team that allows just over 61 points per game.

Free Pick: Ohio State 70, Minnesota 62
