The Baltimore Ravens travel to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in NFL Football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time and it will be televise live on CBS. Currently the NFL Betting Odds for the game have the Bengals favored at home to get the victory.
This game is shaping up to be a pretty good one in the AFC North. Both Baltimore and Cincinnati believe they have playoff caliber teams, but a loss here for either team wouldn't be a complete failure.
The Bengals are coming off an embarrassing 27-0 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts. Prior to that a tie with the Carolina Panthers and another embarrassing loss to New England has Cincinnati is now 3-3-1.
Yet against the Ravens, Cincinnati has won three of the last four games overall, covering the number in those games as well. But the Bengals still have a ton of talent and have winnable games on the horizon, so beating Baltimore would be huge for this team.
The defense has to find a way to play better. In the last three games Cincinnati has been carved up for better than 35 points per game. Baltimore has been scoring points as well, putting up 48 against Tampa Bay a few weeks back before beating up on the Falcons last week.
The Ravens enter today's game 5-2 and holding a nice cushion over the Bengals in the standings. Joe Flacco has been playing well at quarterback and the offense itself is giving the Ravens a lot to be excited about. Their lone two losses, to Cincinnati to start the season and to Indianapolis a couple weeks ago, came by a touchdown each as a few plays here and there could have the Ravens sitting at 7-0.
Andy Dalton will look to continue to get the football to Mohamed Sanu with AJ Green being banged up. In the opening win of the season by the Bengals over Baltimore Green caught six passes for 131 yards and a touchdown. WIthout him in the lineup today, it could be a tough day for Cincinnati.
Baltimore will get some revenge in this one, returning the favor to Cincinnati.
