Both Atlanta and Minnesota figure to be in the playoff conversation in the NFC. That makes this one a big game in the opening week of the season. The Vikings might be the more talented team here and they have played well in the opening portion of the season under Mike Zimmer, winning four of five openers while covering the number in nine of the last 12 games played in September. 

Don’t forget that Minnesota is 3-0 against the Falcons under Zimmer as well. Atlanta struggled on the defensive side of the football last year and Matt Ryan historically is much better at home. Enough signs point to Minnesota here.
