Clemson has a bit of an advantage here as they played well and beat NC State in the opening round on Tuesday afternoon. Playing back to back days might be a bit of a fatigue issue, but already having a game completed should help get them started up for this contest against the Blue Devils.

Duke will look to advance here after eight regular season defeats. They can score points (80.5 per game) and they are decent on defense, but the Blue Devils have to rebound from losing three of the last four games on the season, all three of those coming on the road.

Luke Kennard missed out on being ACC Player of the Year but he can lead his team to a conference title here. Duke would have to advance to play Louisville with a win here. Following that, they’d have to play North Carolina in the semifinals so potentially winning a conference tournament title would take a lot of tough games.

Clemson playing a day earlier will have an advantage, but Duke has too many options offensively.
