The 2017 NBA Draft will take place on Thursday night from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The 2017 NBA Draft Start Time is set for 7 p.m. and it will be televised nationally on ESPN.
Markelle Fultz of Washington is expected to be the top overall selection.
The Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics made waves earlier this week when they flopped picks 1 and 3 around the Los Angeles Lakers at Number 2. The thought process around the trade was that Boston would still have the player it was going to draft at No. 1 available in the third slot. This is barring on the assumption that the Lakers are going to take Lonzo Ball with the second selection in the draft.
There could still be some movement prior to the draft as well. We have seen some interesting trades in the past few days and the Lakers still hold three first-round draft picks this year, so they could potentially make some moves or bolster their franchise with three talents.
