Tonight the WWE will present its Money In The Bank Pay-per-view, which will take place at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio at 8:00 pm (Est) and will be shown on the WWE Network. The Main Event will Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins in a ladder match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Betting Odds, preview and predictions are below.
WWE Tag Title Match: Big E & Xavier Woods (1/6) vs The Prime Time Players (3/1)
Normally it would be Big E and Kofi Kingston going for the New Day, but with Kofi in the Money In The Bank contract ladder Match, Xavier woods will be taking his place here. The Prime Time Players got this opportunity when they won a triple threat tag match on Smackdown 10 days ago. O'Neil and Young are on their second go around as tag partners and right now they look better then they ever have and also are a bit more focused. Still they better not underestimate the team of Xavier Woods and Big E Langston as they are a very solid team. Big E has the power, but Titus O'Neil can more than match that power, while I feel that Darren Young is better than Xavier woods. Yup you know where i am going with this one, as I feel that it is time for the New Day to lose their Titles. The New Day and PTP were the last two teams standing at Elimination Chamber and in that match it was the New Day that came away victorious, but the results will reverse themselves as I look for PTP to walk out as tag team champs. PREDICTION: Prime Time Players
Intercontinental Title Match: Big Show (4/1) vs Ryback (1/8)
This should be one hell of a clash as two really big guys will meet inside the squared circle for the Intercontinental Title. Two weeks ago on Raw, just 24 hours after he won the IC Title, Ryback came out and was set to defend his title vs the Miz. Well the Big Show had other plans as he came down to the ring, knocked out the Miz and stated to Ryback that if anyone was going to fight for the IC Title it was going to be him. That has now set up this match at the Money In The Bank PPV. The Big Show clearly has the size and weight advantage over Ryback, but that will deter Ryback as he showed on raw this past week when he put the Giant on his shoulders and hit him with Shell Shock. Ryback is very strong and very intense and he will make sure that his first ever singles title in the WWE will not end that quickly. PREDICTION: Ryback
Divas Title Match: Paige (7/4) vs Nikki Bella (4/11)
Any PPV with Paige in it is a good one for me, whether she wins or loses. I really hope she wins this on though. A couple of months ago Paige won a Diva's battle royal, which made her the #1 contender for the Title. She never got to face Nikki for that title at the time as she was attacked after the match by Naomi, which put her on the shelf for a couple of months. When she came back she made it known that she will go right after the Divas title again and at Elimination Chamber she had her shot in a triple threat match with Naomi and Nikki, which Nikki won. Two weeks ago on Raw she had a one on one match with Nikki for the title but during the match Nikki and Brie pulled the switcheroo, allowing Nikki to retain. Now Paige gets another shot and is tired of all the tricks that the Bella's have pulled to keep the title in Nikki's hands. Paige is determined here and I feel that it really is time for Nikki to lose her title. PREDICTION: Paige
Singles Match: John Cena (8/11) vs Kevin Owens (Even)
Who is Kevin Owens? Well last month at Elimination Chamber he showed the world who he is by beating John Cena in a very shocking match. Kevin Owens is the current NXT Title holder and the Match at elimination Chamber was his first ever match as a part of the WWE's main roster. Part of the reason he is up here right now is because the WWE had a roster spot to fill thanks to the injury to Rusev. Kevin Owens is as tough as they come and he is very arrogant as well, but he can also back it up. Since the match at Elimination Chamber the two have gone back and forth in a verbal war, with both very confident that they will come out the winner in this match. For Ownes this is a huge match as he looks to rise up in the ranks of the WWE, while John Cena is looking to show that he is still the man to beat in the WWE. Owens has beaten Cena twice now, but I don't see it happening a third time. I say Cena shuts up the arrogant Owens and shows that he is not do yet. PREDICTION: John Cena
Money in The Bank Contract Ladder Match: Roman Reigns (2/7) vs Kane (14/1) vs Sheamus (12/1) vs Kofi Kingston (5/1) vs Dolph Ziggler 5/1) vs Neville (12/1) vs Randy Orton (7/1).
These matches are always fun and it what makes this one of my favorite PPVs and with this cast of wrestlers it should truly be a fun show. Who has won it out of this group? Well Kane won it back in 2010 and was the first WWE superstar to win the briefcase and cash it in on the same night. Dolph Ziggler won it back in 2012 ad cashed in the night after Wrestlemania 29. Orton won it back in 2013 and then used it to join the Authority, which helped him cash in the to win the belt, unifying the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships. Sheamus and Kofi have been in these matches before but have yet to win it, while Roman Reigns and Neville are first timers. Speaking of Reign, In would say he is the clear favorite here, especially after he had to run the gauntlet two weeks ago on Raw just to get here. It would also make sense as it looks like the WWE is trying to set up something with Reigns vs Rollins. Kane is in this match pretty much to make sure that Reigns doesn't win it, while Kofi and Neville are pretty much in it for their high flying acts that they will bring to this match. Dolph Ziggler is always a wildcard because of his popularity and his guts to keep fighting till the end, but I just don't see him winning it here. Orton and Sheamus are very dangerous as both have experience and both seem to be at the top of their games right now.Still i really feel that this is Reigns match and the WWE tipped it off by making him go through a 3 match gauntlet on Raw. Usually when a wrestler has to go through a lot like they the come out on top. That's what will happen here. PREDICTION: Roman Reigns
Ladder Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title: Dean Ambrose (11/4) vs Seth Rollins (1/5)
Seth Rollins is the current WWE Title holder, but it has been Dean Ambrose that is walking around with the belt at the moment. back at Elimination Chamber these two guys put on a hell of a show and in the end it was Dean that pinned Seth in the center of the ring, but it was not without controversy. With dean coming off the top rope Seth pulled the Ref in front of him, which he took the blow meant for Seth. The ref was knocked out but the fight went on and after Dean hit Seth with Dirty Deeds another ref came out and did the 3 count. Dean thought he won the belt, but then the knocked out ref got up and reversed the decision stating that Dean won as a result of a DQ. That allowed Seth to keep the belt, which Dean didn't take to kindly and stole the belt, which he now is in possession of. Now the two will settle this in a ladder match, with the winner having to climb the ladder in order to retrieve the belt and win the Title. Dean is a total loose cannon and it would be interesting to see him as the champ and this just may be the time for him to do it as Seth has stated that he doesn't want any help from the Authority at all. He wants to do this one his own. Can he do it on his own? He really has yet to as someone has always been in his corner helping him out. Something tells me the Authority will get involved anyway and one way or another Seth will retain his title in this one. It's just not time for him to lose it. PREDICTION: Seth Rollins
