In 2006, he trained Belmont Stakes winner Jazil as well as Breeders’ Cup Classic winner and Horse of the Year Invasor, who would go on to win the 2007 Dubai World Cup.
Joel Rosario will be riding frosted in this race. Joel comes in with 2004 career wins, including 45 this year. In 2013 he won The Kentucky Derby aboard Orb, won the Dubai World Cup aboard Animal Kingdom, while also has 2 wins in the Breeders Cup. His First Kentucky Derby was back in 2010 aboard Make Music For Me and he set a Keeneland spring-meeting record with 38 winning rides.
Frosted is coming off his best performance to date, a victory in the Grade 1 Wood Memorial, and he gets to work with Joel Rosario, who just may be the top jockey going right now. This is a dangerous horse and with a very confident jockey riding him he may be worth a shot here.
