The US Open will see the final round take place today with several golfers still in contention to win one of the hardest golf tournaments in the world. The US Open Start Time is set for 1:00 p.m. and it will be televised nationally on NBC. Currently the US Open Odds has Phil Mickelson favored to hold off the field and win the tournament today. The fourth and final round of the 113th United States Open takes center stage on the sports world as the best players in the world take to East Course of the Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania for the final round today. The US Open Final Round Tee Times are listed below in completion. The day gets going with Robert Karlsson playing by himself and ends with both Mickelson and Hunter Mahan in the final grouping.

Two Americans are in the last group for this country's national championship of golf. But will an American be able to best the field on Sunday and win the US Open? Currently Bookmaker has Phil Mickelson as the favorite to win the US Open, drawing nearly 2.5/1 odds to complete the final round today and finish atop the standings. Mahan is just a few notches down at 8/1 odds for the tournament, even though he is in the final pairing.

This is going to come down to a fantastic finish on Father's Day in the United States with the US Open up for grabs. Right behind Mickelson are a group of three players just one shot off the lead in Charl Schwartzel, Steve Stricker and Mahan. They, along with Mickelson, make up the top four guys with a chance to win this tournament, according to the oddsmakers.

Mickelson has won four majors in his career but hasn't been able to get the victory in the US Open. Yet, he's been in contention several times — he's finished second or tied for second five times in this tournament. He's also led going into the final round as well, as most will remember the wild finish in the 2006 US Open when Mickelson lost at Winged Foot. Yes, the one where all he needed to do was par his 72nd hole of the tournament and he would have won. Yet, he decided to hit driver and blasted the ball out of bounds and ended up watching Geoff Ogilvy hoist the trophy. Better believe he still has that in his memory.

US Open at Merion Facts — This will be the fifth U.S. Open played at Merion's East Course, which opened in 1912. The past champions are: Olin Dutra in 1934, Ben Hogan in 1950, Lee Trevino in 1971, and David Graham in 1981. The course has also hosted the U.S. Amateur six times: Bobby Jones won at Merion in 1924 and 1930, the latter completed his grand slam. He also competed here in his and Merion's first U.S. Amateur in 1916; Jones was a quarterfinalist at age 14 and the champion was Chick Evans, who also won the U.S. Open in 1916, the first to win both titles in the same year.
