2013 Royal Rumble Odds, Start Time, Predictions

WWE's prestigious Royal Rumble 2013 event is back tonight from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ. Odds for the Royal Rumble are listed below. The Royal Rumble has a start time of 8:00 PM (Eastern) and will be televised live on Pay Per View. The Pre-Show will stream live on WWE.comYouTube.com/WWE and Facebook.com/WWE at 7:30 ET, and for the first time ever, it will be available for viewing inside WWE Active

The Pre-Show match will pit The Miz vs Antonio Ceasaro in a battle for the United States Title Antonio Cesaro is one of the strongest guys you've ever seen and one of the very best and most entertaining performers in the company. Meanwhile, The Miz is self-destructing in hilarious fashion, as not even an endorsement from Ric Flair himself can seem to stop his breakneck downward slide. Flair showed him ho to use the figure four leglock, but Im sure The Miz will mess it up. Pick: Antonio Cesaro

Regular Card

Tag Team Title Match: Team Hell No vs Team Rhode Scholars: The intro video package recapping this feud should be worth the price of admission. Team Hell No was brought together through anger management counseling, while Team Rhodes Scholars features a guy in a bathrobe doing cartwheels and talking down to people and a guy with the world's worst mustache. Team Hell No has been great and I can't remember the last time we had a tag team with legitimate credibility as, you know, an actual TEAM. Having said that, I feel like their gimmick has peaked and the only way to keep this program on an upward trajectory is to have them cough up the titles. Pick: Team Rhode Scholars

World Heavyweight Title: Alberto Del Rio vs Big Show: This is a last-man-standing match, which should be interesting. The Big Show is sort of going through a career renaissance where everything he does is compelling, while Del Rio has turned into a shockingly great face. What happens with the World Heavyweight Championship long turn is yet to be determined, but I do believe that Del Rio walks out of Phoenix, Arz. With the strap around his waist. Pick: Alberto Del Rio

WWE Title Match: CM Punk vs Rock: Heading into the match on Sunday, CM Punk will have held the title for 434 days. It's the longest world title reign in 25 years. He claims he's better than the Rock. The Rock vehemently disagrees. Oh, also, there's these three guys called "The Shield" who appear to be in cahoots with Punk. They keep beating people up, but If they interfere in the match, Punk will be stripped of the title. The idea of CM Punk keeping the WWE championship is an appealing one but think of how much more press and attention WWE can get if Rock is lugging the WWE title around with him while promoting movies. i expect Punk's reign to end here. Pick: The Rock

ROYAL RUMBLE: This year, we've had 18 confirmed entrants by the day of the event, which is a pretty good number that leaves plenty of room for the usual surprises and big returns. All the big names are in, like John Cena, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Wade Barrett, The Miz, Antonio Cesaro, Ryback, Daniel Bryan, Kane. Plenty of main event talent there and in that respect this is likely one of the deepest Rumbles in some time. The winner of this match receives a title shot at WrestleMania against the champion of his choosing, be that the WWE champion or the world heavyweight champion. That means whomever wins will be challenging CM Punk, The Rock, Alberto Del Rio, Big Show, or Dolph Ziggler.  Last year, most of us would have bet our eyeteeth that Jericho or Orton was going to win the Rumble, and a pale Irishman who loves to fight had us all eating crow. A win for Cena here would build him up well and logically for a return match with The Rock at Wrestlemania. Pick: John Cena

This year, the Pregame.com community will work together to invent the best Super Bowl prop, and sportsbook BetOnline.com will make the prop available for the entire world to bet! And the inventor of the prop gets a $500 Super Bowl bet from BetOnline (no deposit required & only a one time roll-over). Initial bet can be ANYWAY you choose on the Super Bowl (but Super Bowl only!). The best part is ANY other prop they use beyond the $500 winner will get $250 into their account (same rules apply). As an added bonus, an actual Las Vegas sportsbook will review the props and choose one and actually post it on their betting board on Super Bowl Sunday!
