In January, there is one Oahu attraction enjoyed by local Hawaiians, visiting tourists, and television viewers alike: the AFC-NFC Pro Bowl. This year, the NFL’s all star game will be taking place on Sunday, January 27 with a Start Time of 7:00 PM (Eastern) and it will be televised live on NBC. Players from 26 NFL teams will face off in front of more than 13 million viewers nationwide.
Super Bowl 47 is officially set, but before football fans are treated to that much-anticipated battle, they'll have to sit through the Pro Bowl. AKA the biggest joke of an All-Star game in all of sports. Nevertheless, while the Pro Bowl is full of plays like this one and is often more two-hand touch than anything else, it's still an honor for the players and their respective teams to be selected to play in Honolulu.
Tom Brady has bowed out of the game and was replaced by rookie Andrew Luck, who has given the Colts hope for the future after a very good rookie campaign. Some other notables out in the AFC include RB Ray Rice and WR Wes Welker.
On the NFC Side, we note that Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan and RG3 have been replaced by Drew Brees, Eli Manning and Russell Wilson. Other notables out for the NFC, include RB Frank Gore and Wr's Calvin Johnson and Brandon Marshall.
Below are the update rosters for both teams.
