The Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins will clash in a 2013 NFL Preseason Week 3 battle on Saturday in the nation's capitol. The meeting between the two squads is scheduled to kickoff at 4:30pm ET at FedEX Field. NFL Preseason Odds and Picks at Sportsbook.ag are favoring the Redskins at -3.5 against the spread; the Over/Under is set at 42.5 points.

Washington is undefeated through two preseason games, earning a 22-21 win over the Titans and a 24-13 win against the Steelers, but getting to 3-0 could be a problem.

No one believes the Bills are more talented than the Redskins; however, Washington is thin at the quarterback position right now with Robert Griffin III still not cleared to play and Kirk Cousins sidelined with a foot sprain.

The Redskins do have a veteran third stringer in Rex Grossman, but Shanahan may be inclined to give Pat White, who is attempting to revive an NFL career that never got started, a healthy dose of playing time against Buffalo.

The Bills are also banged up at quarterback with first round draft pick E.J. Manuel undergoing a procedure on his knee. Manuel, who is still in the mix to start under center, is out the remainder of the preseason.

Buffalo, like Washington, does have an experienced presence to lean on in Kevin Kolb. The issue, however, is Kolb's tendency to collapse when the leaning takes place.

He did just that last week, completing 13-of-21 passes for 111 yards and one interception in his preseason debut. Despite the poor showing, the Bills managed to score a 20-16 win over the Vikings.

Buffalo's new head coach Doug Marrone is 2-0 both straight up and against the spread in preseason action thanks to last week's narrow win and cover (-3.5) against Minnesota. Washington's 2-0 start to the preseason has improved Mike Shanahan's exhibition record to an impressive 52-30 (46-34-1 against the spread).
