The Miami Heat’s continued dominance has made them the clear cut favorite among both bettors and odds makers to win the 2013 NBA Finals. The latest 2013 NBA Finals Odds release has the Heat, who carried a 26 game winning streak into last night’s meeting with the Orlando Magic, listed as a -140 moneyline favorite ($140 wins $100) to retain their title. Miami’s opponent in last year’s championship series, the Oklahoma City Thunder, remain a second choice to win the NBA Finals; Kevin Durant and company are currently drawing +500 odds ($100 wins $500) to bring the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy back to the Western Conference. San Antonio, which owns a 1.5 games lead over the Thunder in the Western Conference standings, is a third pick at +800 odds. This week’s big mover is the red hot Denver Nuggets. Denver, now the three seed in the West with a 49-22 record, has won 15 straight games and is drawing +1800 odds to win the franchise’s first championship.
