This year's NFL Season Win Totals have been released by the Las Vegas Hotel (formerly Hilton). The Dallas Cowboys have been projected with an over/under of 8 wins this season. The Cowboys are going to need more than 8 wins on the season if they want to make the playoffs in the NFC. The LVH has released season win totals for each of the NFL franchises and the Cowboys are being projected to be in a battle for the NFC East title.
America's Team, as Jerry Jones still refers to it, finished last season with an 8-8 record and the oddsmakers believe they'll have the same record in 2013. Tony Romo is one of the most polarizing people in all of sports and love him or hate him, he's still the quarterback of the Cowboys. One thing that will certainly help Romo and the offense this season is getting a healthy DeMarco Murray back on the field. Murray is one of the best weapons Dallas has on the team and with his solid running style and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Romo will also get a chance to continue throwing the ball to Dez Bryant and Jason Witten this season, giving the Cowboys a lot of options.
When looking at the schedule, the season opener against the Giants is obviously a big game early. The Cowboys will have road games against Kansas City and San Diego before having to take on the Denver Broncos at home. They head into their bye week after three of four games on the road. The second half of the schedule certainly looks harder on paper with road games against the Giants, Bears and Redskins plus having to play the Packers and Philadelphia to end the season.
