Allright gentlemen...After meeting with the guys the past week or so, to go over assignments and what we need to do in order to prepare for the months ahead...especially since we will have the opportunity to invest in simultaneous markets...I decided that with the amount of Profit we have been able to aquire in the last 10 months, and since I am confident that the final 2 for 2008, will allow us to Profit even more and add to our Account Balances...I thought it was a perfect time, to pass along to my clients...in the form of "Future Bets"...what I felt were opportunities for us to profit, and possibly set ourselves up to earn...later in the year...

Before I get to those "Future Bets" that I placed over the last 48hrs...I wanted to explain what I have informed my clients of on many occasions, when we would step up and take a position on a Series/Future Wager...The object, as I was taught when moving "steam"...was to find those possible opportunities, that offer up a big enough price...which will enable us to "EARN", even if our wager don't get there completely...

What I mean by this...is that the best way to approach "Futures"...is to look for teams which have a decent chance to make the Post-Season, and in turn...allow for opportunities to hedge if and when that time comes...Now, of course it's nice when no "Hedge" is neccessary...like we were able to do with the Phillies throughout the Playoffs/World Series...But keep in mind that going in, that would be icing on the cake...and not the entire reason for the wager...

I also recommend that those who haven't been following us long enough to have built the bankroll/profit we have...take a smaller position on these bets, because as I've stated...These are wagers that I like to make when I have turned a big enough Profit, that I am able to take a little more risk...for a possible "score" later on...And more importantly, I also urge my guys to realize that if all goes as planned...they will need the capital to hedge, if and when the time comes that "Profit" can be 100% secured without risk...

I have decided that I would Invest "10" Units of our Profit to make these "Future Bets"...keeping in mind that any Profit/Loss made from them, will go on next year's (2009) Balance Sheet...And I thought that it would be a good idea, to share these "Future Wagers" with All of the Forum Members here at Pregame...and see if we can all turn a profit...I will also be Updating our progress when the time comes, and advise you on what we are doing...if the opportunity to earn transpires...

Without any more delay, let's get right to it and see if we can make a score...

(Many of these Bets were made at Bodog, who offers excellent prices on Futures...as well as some of the shops here that I have access to which are also generous when it comes to booking future work...Finally, I tried to get a concensus to use for Grading...and some Bets we were able to get a much better price, so I suggest that you do a little shopping if you plan on getting down)

TO WIN 2008-2009 BCS CHAMPIONSHIP :

1.) FLORIDA GATORS (+600) (2 Units)...

Analysis/Reasoning given on 1st "Pod-Cast" back in Aug/Sept...

TO WIN NFL 2008-2009 SUPER BOWL :

1.) PITTSBURGH STEELERS (+1300) (1.5 Units)...

I was really hoping that they would have lost to the Redskins on MNF so that we could get what I thought would be around 20-1...But at this price, the Steelers are definately worth a wager because not only have they done extremely well, with such a difficult schedule...But they have done it with key injuries as well...If this team can get healthy late in the season, with their experience in the Playoffs...and a wide open AFC...They could get there and win the whole thing which wouldn't surprise me at all when you look at their defense which has always been one of the best in the league...and we all know that offense wins regular season games, but defense brings home the Championship...And may overlook this offense, but with a healthy Parker, and playmakers at wide-receiver...anchored by a QB who has already won the big one, and allows this offense to reamain...I just really feel that this is not a team that anyone will want anything to do with when the Playoffs get here...And finally, let't not forget that they have gotten to 6-2...with only 3 of their 8 games being played at home...where we know the Steelers are almost unbeatable...And therefore, should only improve their record, and if they can catch Tennessee, who is only 1 Game up on them at this time...and get Home-Field...They may very well be representing the AFC in this year's Super Bowl, especially with the regulars, NE, INDI, and even SD having problems this year...

2.) PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (+1500) (1.5 Units)...

Keep in mind that I am not an Eagles fan at all...and spending many years as a book back in Philly, believe me...very few people routed against them on a weekly basis than myself...But once again, the price is just too good to pass up when you look at all of the weapons they have, especially when healthy...and their experience come Play-off time...The Eagles are in the toughest division in football, which is why I believe we are able to get such a great price...and they have pretty much been under the radar so far all season...But anytime you have one of the best Defensive minds in football as your coordinator, as well as probably the best RB in football...you have the ability to beat any team in the league...

TO WIN 2008-2009 NHL STANLEY CUP :

1.) BUFFALO SABRES (+1800) (1.5 Units)...

I couldn't believe that I was actually able to get +2000 on the Sabres, who I feel definately have the pieces to make a long run when the Post-Season gets here...and with so many teams making the Playoffs in the NHL...we should definately have that opportunity in the spring...They have had a tough schedule in this young season so far, and have shown the ability to win on the road...as well as dominate at home...And with one of the best defenses in the NHL, ranked #1 in goals against...plus one of rhe best goalies in the league...these odds are just way to generous...And the Sabres will be the only team that we will look to back, to win the Stanley Cup in June...

TO WIN 2008-2009 NBA CHAMPIONSHIP :

1.) HOUSTON ROCKETS (+800) (1.5 Units)...

I really wished that I got down on them at +1500 early on, especially since as I said on the Pod-Cast we did as the season was opening up...this is a team that I think is set to make a long run when the Playoffs get here, because of their ability to play defense...Now health is always a question when we talk about the Rockets, but this team is deep enough this year...that they don't need to depend on 1 or 2 guys as much as they have in the past...McGrady and Ming definately have a supporting cast, and with Battier and the addition of Artest...they have the players to contain Kobe and anyone else in the league for that matter...If this team can just improve offensively as the season progresses, they will be the team that nobody wants to face in May/June...More importanlty, with no team really being that dominant going into this season...even at this price, the Rockets are worth backing...

2.) PHILADELPHIA 76ERS (+3000) (1.5 Units)...

Here I go with another Pennsylvania team, and I swear to you...these are anything but "homer" plays...The bottom line is that this year's Eastern Conference is a lot more wide open than in years past...And with Boston losing a little hunger after winning it all...Detroit getting another year older...and LeBron just not having enough of a supporting cast in Cleveland...and up and coming teams like Atlanta & Orlando aren't ready to go deep in the Playoffs just yet...With that, I see absolutely no reason at all why the Sixers won't be right there as one of the favorites in the East, when the Playoffs begin...Let's not forget that not only is Brand a huge aquisition, taking off so much of the scoring pressure on Igoudala...but this team also has some Post-Season experience under their belt, and as they continue to mature this season...I really believe that they will be another team that nobody wants to face when the spring winds down...And very few teams in the NBA this season will prove to be as deep as this year's Sixers team who can go 9-10 deep if needed...

TO WIN 2008-2009 NCAABB CHAMPIONSHIP :

1.) CONNECTICUT HUSKIES (+2000) (1.5 Units)...

I know that with everyone returning for the Tar Heels, they will be extremely difficult to beat when March Madness rolls around...But at odds of 3/2, and so much that can happen between now and then...There is just no way that anyone could justify making that kind of wager, and instead is the sportsbooks way of saying, "We don't want any N Carolina action"...That's not a problem because as Kansas showed us last year, once the Tournament gets here...any team who gets on a great roll, can cut down the nets...And since I've been working on preparing for the upcoming NCAABB Season, there is no team that I continue to like more and more than UConn, and couldn't believe that I was able to find 25/1...This team is loaded and has an excellent back & front court, with their experienced Senior Point Guard Price...and their monster underneath the boards, 7'3 Thabeet...last season, even though they had to endure injuries and suspensions...they went "13-2" in the also loaded, Big East...This season, they will once again get all the testing they need as many expect up to 10 BE teams to get an invite...and will be able to gradually get their awesome "5" top recruits acclimated to college ball, especially Freshman Nate Miles, who many believe will be the next Rip Hamilton in Storrs...What I really like most about this year's Huskies, is that they are deep enough that Calhoun can once again, get back to his Fast-Break style of play...and that is exactly what Coach says he is looking to do...

2.) OKLAHOMA SOONERS (+5000) (1*)...

Yes, a long shot...but definately shouldn't be this big of one, especially since they have the player who will probably be the #1 pick in the June NBA Draft, Sophmore Blake Griffin...who will play Power Forward, along with his older brother, Senior Taylor Griffin...They do lose 3 straters, but they also have 9 of their 12 scholarship players in their 1st 2 seasons...and this may finally be the year, that Coach Capel is able to implement his style of basketball, which he hasn't been able to yet at Norman...But with Senior Point Guard Johnson, who must stay healthy and will ultimately continue improving if he does...this club now is athletic enough to run, and more importantly "Press"...which is how Capel loves to play defense...I know many will say that I am completely wrong when saying this...But I truely believe that this team can win the Big 12 this year because they will be able to go 11 or 12 deep, which very few others will be able to do...

So there you have it, Vegas-Runner's "Future Wagers" for 4 Different Sports...with only NCAAFB missing...But when the sport's Championship Game is decided by a computer, rather than on the field...It becomes a much too risky proposition....Although we won't know the outcome for months, in many cases...it's always nice, to have a routing interest in a team...because when you bet sports like I do, everyday of your life, since I could remember...It is almost impossible to have a favorite team, since you are forced to bet against them if the price set demands it...

And before I go, I just wanted to add that you have to be willing to make these "Future Bets"...and then put them away until it's time to see if Profit could be "Earned"...because they can not affect any of our daily decisions until that time...Thanks again for all your support...and Best of Luck, Vegas-Runner...
