Nascar - Samsung 500 (Top 5 drivers to watch including huge payouts)

The Sprint Cup boys move to Texas this weekend for the seventh race of the season.  Texas has become one of the exciting tracks on the circuit.  Texas is a 1 1/2 mile Oval track located in Fort Worth.  Here are my Top 5 drivers to win in Texas this weekend.  We still have to wait for Qualifying and Happy Hour before finalizing our Head to Head matchups.

For starters, I think Matt Kenseth has the best shot of winning this race.  Kenseth has 1 win, Five Top 5 finishes and six Top 10 finishes in his 10 starts here in Texas.  Kenseth has an average finish of 10.1 here in Texas.  Kenseth finished 2nd the past 2 races at this track.  Matt Kenseth's average finish at track type - FAST SUPERSPEEDWAY is 9.0. In 10 races, he has 1 win and 7 top 10 finishes.

Next in line I would go with Jimmie Johnson.  Jimmie Johnson has one win, 3 Top 5 finishes and 6 Top 10 finishes in 8 starts here in Texas.  Johnson has an average finish of 10.1 here in Texas.  Jimmie Johnson's average finish at track type - FAST SUPERSPEEDWAY is 11.5. In 10 races, he has 4 wins and 6 top 10 finishes.

Then, back in my 3rd spot, I have to go with Mark Martin.  Mark Martin has one win, five Top 5 finishes and seven Top 10 finishes in his 13 starts in Texas.  Martin has an average finish of 14.3 here in Texas.
Mark Martin's average finish at track type - FAST SUPERSPEEDWAY is 16.3. In 10 races, he has 0 wins and 5 top 10 finishes.

Looking at my pick for the 4th spot we turn to Dale Earnhardt Jr..  Earnhardt Jr. has one win, three Top 5 finishes and six Top 10 finishes in his 10 starts in Texas.  Earnhardt Jr. is the hottest driver over the past 3 races.  Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s average finish over the past 3 races is 4.7. In 3 races, he has 0 wins and 3 top 10 finishes.  Earnhardt Jr. has an average finish of 12.9 in Texas.

Round out my Top 5 and sitting in the 5th position is Jamie McMurray.  McMurray has no wins, two Top 5 finishes and five Top 10 finishes in his 7 starts in Texas.  McMurray has an average finish of 12.0 here in Texas.  McMurray finished 5th in his last race here.

The odds for these drivers to win in Texas currently at Bodog are:

#17  Matt Kenseth 8 to 1
#48  Jimmie Johnson 9 to 1
#8    Mark Martin  35 to 1
#88  Dale Earnhardt Jr.  7 to 1
#26  Jamie McMurray 65 to 1
