Tampa Bay -170 over Philadelphia (Shields over Myers)

Last night I gave you a win with Philadelphia as pick.  The professional sports handicapper has no team loyalty.  My loyalty is to whichever team handicaps to win the game I'm handicapping.  Tonight that's Tampa Bay as a -170 favorite.

I don't have time to be funny or run through every statistic tonight.  We have the first day of Breeders' Cup action coming up tomorrow and I need to get ready.  Suffice it to say, Shields is the better pitcher in every category, both based on overall numbers and on home and away numbers.  As an example of Shields dominance this matchup, Shields allows an excellent 9.8 hits and walks per 9 innings at home, compared to a poor 14.5 hits and walks allowed per 9 innings by Myers on the road.  

Tampa Bay also hits better at home against right handers than Philadelphia against right handers noln the road.
