Has anyone noticed that Hochuli rhymes with Donaghy? Based on the performance of Ed Hochuli and his crew in the last two games, it looks to me as if Hochuli could have more in common with Donaghy than just a rhyming name.
New Orleans thouroughly dominated Minnesota on Monday Night, but lost anyway. It cost me a Monday pick. To make up for Hochuli's Hell last night, I'm gong to give you tonight's selection right here for free.
Troy is the superior team both offensively and defensively. Troy averages 100 yards more per game on offense and allows 86 fewer yds per game on defense than Florida Atlantic. The advantage of Troy extends both to the passing game and the running game. Troy averages 262 yds through the air. Troy should attain that average tonight against Fla Atlantic's defense which allows 238 yds passing. Florida Atlantic averages a decent 229 yds passing, but Troy's defense allows a mere 160 yds to opponents and should be able to give Fla Atlantic QB Rusty Smith and his 48% completion rate a hard time.
On the ground, Troy averages 180 yes, which is exactly the yardage that Fla Atlantic allows. Tropy allows 171 yds per game to opponents on the ground, but Fla Atlantic averages only 113 yds per game.
For good measure, Troy also has the better special teams. The home field will not be enough for Florida Atlantic tonight. Take Troy laying 4 points.
