Here is a video of Ray Allen breaking Reggie Miller's three point record with 1:48 left in the first quarter versus the Lakers tonight. Mr. Allen now has 2,561 three pointers in his career. Kudos sir Side note: He has nothing on my record of triples from the top corner of the screen in Double Dribble. Looking for any thoughts on the new record or memories of Reggie Miller nailing clutch triples during his carrer.

When comparing the NBA, MLB and NHL; the NBA seems to have the most direct correlation on how a team does in the first game of a seven game series in comparision to other sports afte winning game #1. Interesting to note that a visiting team that steals a game #1 on the road is only 2-12 in game #2. round...

To follow up on an earlier blog post about understanding value when betting, we will look at NBA totals from yesterday and review the opening vs closing numbers and see if it mattered (if at all) what number you played at. Trying to understand many aspects of how this works and what it means can be confusing, so feel free to ask any questions you like. I spend tons of time reviewing past results and movements, so if there...

There are endless theories from countless forums, handicappers and books on how to beat the 4.5% hold built into the -110 juice you must lay when placing a wager with either Las Vegas or an online sportsbook. If you have enough outs (local and offshore) AND can get on the moves before they happen there is a lot of money that can be made. You always hear people talk about middling, but most of the time they really do not know what the hell they are talking about. When it comes right down to it, sports gambling is math. Almost everything has some type of value. There is a reason all books charge the same for buying 1/2 points...

Just kidding. I was bored the other day and went through a schedule book from last season and was amazed at all the locks, blowouts and inside information games that I discovered. First I laughed to myself that they were making these outrageous claims in a schedule book that is produced a months in advance. Than I realized how it was not funny that there are people out there who fall for this nonsense. What nonsense am...
