New York City To Have Slot Machines By October

New York City is getting closer to casino gambling. Aqueduct Raceway and Resorts World Casino, in Jamaica, NY have already received their first order of slot machines which will be installed by next month.

The first of the new Aqueduct casino’s 5,000 gaming machines were delivered to the track this week and will be installed soon in anticipation of the facility’s late October opening.

This kind of snuck up on me, but this is cool for New York City residents as it is now the closes gambling to the largest market in the country. For the gambler, note that these machines will be VLT’s.
