As usual I went to sleep listening to ESPN radio. Last night the host, Jason Smith, mentioned something about a Guns n Roses reunion happening at the Super Bowl next year. I was almost motivated enough to get out of bed and research the rumor, but I figured that if it was important enough for me to remember then I would. Well, evidently this rumor was floated earlier this year and I am stoked!

According to the report, “Preliminary talks have already taken place to reconvene the most popular line up of " for the event next year.

I'm a firm believer that where there's smoke there's fire and when rumors, like this, are reported on by multiple sources that there is some truth to the rumor. Last year's rumor about the Black Eyed Peas playing was true so why can't this GnR rumor be true. I don't see the NFL as someone to take no for an answer. They were able to get Bruce Springsteen to play and I don't see him as someone to do corporate events. If true, this will be the best Super Bowl halftime show in years and I'm ready!
