2009/10 Review: The San Antonio Spurs started last season with high expectations for a Championship run and actually they had the personnel to think about such goal. They got a charitable trade from Milwaukee to acquire Richard Jefferson for basically nothing and on the paper their roster was loaded with plenty of valuable pieces. However their team chemistry was far from being the adequate for a Championship... Read more

The San Antonio Spurs had a terrific off season, as they boosted their roster with significant talent and going for this season, they are one of the legit contenders to win it all. However, they are coming from a disappointing season last year. Last season, the Spurs were derailed by injuries on their best players. Tony Parker got injured earlier in the season and Manu Ginobili missed the second half of the season... Read more

If there was any logic in the numbers, we could say the Spurs would be the champions this season, as this season will end in 2009 and they were champions in 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007. However, their challenge this season will be huge and surely the task for them to keep the team on the top is getting harder every season. We are talking about the oldest team on the league and looking at their starting team, Tony... Read more

If in the Eastern conference we know that Detroit will be in the conference final and that we will probably know what to expect from the series between Boston and Cleveland after tonight's Game 4, the Western conference semi finals are on-fire with both series being tied at 2-2 right now, with the home team winning all eight games and covering the spread at the same time. And with so very little separating the quality... Read more

Saturday matchups: DETROIT VS ORLANDO Detroit and Orlando will play one of the semi finals of the Eastern conference and this series is expected to be way more closer than the series between these two teams last season, in which Detroit won by 4-0. The factor that we have to highlight in here is that Orlando is stronger this season, as not only they have a better roster, as Dwight Howard is playing at a level way... Read more

LAKERS VS DENVER The Lakers finished the regular season with the top seed in the West and so, they will face the 8th seed Denver in the first round of the playoffs. Bynum won't probably play during this series and I actually doubt he will play again this season. It is rare to find a difference of seven games between the 1st and the 8th in a conference, but this has happened in this wild Western conference... Read more

Western Conference: 5. New Orleans Hornets I know it seems weird to put the best team of the West in the 5th position, but the Hornets start these final 30 games of the regular season without something the other teams possess: experience! They will play 12 games against rivals of the West and in these games certainly they will suffer some huge losses and the way they will react to these losses will be the... Read more
