I left Orlando’s preview to be one of the last to be released due to Howard’s situation, as it is likely that he will be traded and his presence or absence is motive enough for this preview to need to be completely changed. Howard was a monster last season, in my opinion he should have been the MVP last year and he only...

In 2008-09 the Orlando Magic went to the NBA Finals just to lose in 5
games against the Los Angeles Lakers, so the expectations were pretty
high for last season. In the offseason, they decided to not give a
contract extension to Hedo Turkoglu and got involved in a trade with
the Nets receiving Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson.
The Magic gave up of one of their biggest mismatch advantages...

Before the start of last season, the Orlando Magic were already
considered a top team, but few believed that they could reach the NBA
Finals. However, Orlando enjoyed a terrific regular season and then,
they beat the Celtics and the Cavaliers in the Playoffs to go the NBA
Finals for the first time since 1995 and just the second time in
franchise history. They had a 59-23 record in the regular season, but

@ Point Guard
In theory the Point Guard position is the weakest link of the Los
Angeles Lakers. Derek Fisher brings the championship pedigree over
Alston but despite his experience Fisher can't match lightning-quick
point guards. Rockets' PG Aaron Brooks scored 19, 34 and 26 points in
the Rockets wins while shooting 27-47 from the field (51% clip). That's
the biggest explanation of why PG Jameer Nelson enjoyed...

Very few players had the spotlight Dwight Howard had last season.
Howard had an amazing regular season with 20.7 ppg, 14.2 rpg and 2.1
bpg and in the All Star weekend, he dress like Superman to win the dunk
contest. He was clearly the most dominant center in the regular season
and he started the playoffs in great fashion, with 3 games against
Toronto where he had more than 20 points and 20 boards. However,

Saturday matchups: DETROIT VS ORLANDO Detroit and Orlando will play one of the semi
finals of the Eastern conference and this series is expected to be way
more closer than the series between these two teams last season, in
which Detroit won by 4-0. The factor that we have to highlight in here
is that Orlando is stronger this season, as not only they have a better
roster, as Dwight Howard is playing at a level way...

Boston vs Atlanta
There isn't much to say in this series. The only doubt in here is if Boston will sweep the Hawks or not. Looking at the regular season records of both teams, everything appoints to a sweep ( Boston 66-16; Atlanta 38-44). But the differences are much bigger than it appears to be.
First of all, Atlanta
doesnt have any kind of experience at this level. Just Joe Johnson and
Mike Bibby have played...

5. Toronto Raptors
This team may be the East team of the second half of the season, not
only because they will only play against teams from the West for eight times,
but also the team with TJ Ford is finally ready to compete. There is no other
team in the league, who can say they have two great PG like Toronto, who will
use them to have a good ball movement for the whole 48 minutes...
