Forget about those days where the Nets were perennial contenders in the Eastern Conference with Jason Kidd, Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson because these days are gone! Is it possible for a team to enter the 2008/2009 season already thinking more on the 2010 season than in this season? If that's possible, then the Nets are clearly doing that. Eastern Conference: 15. Miami Heat With a brutal record of 9-42, Miami has been also terrible against-the-spread with a record of 18-34. But this team can be even worse at home, where they have just covered the spread in 27% (7-19) of their home games.
