Bone and Perdente were on the same team today. Toronto. I thought that one over pretty good and I said it makes sense. Bone says there's a big money drop and Perdente is saying Koochie is going to throw a gem today. I can't let this rare opportunity that these guys are both keyed in on that game just slip by without getting paid.

I kept it silent on both their threads because I didn't want to incite anymore action on them. Not even a BOL.... Crickets.

In fact Perdente was so confident that I even put $100 on Toronto -1.5  at +190 or something

And I took them on ML for $102

Then on my lunchbreak, I'm thinking to myself...

Did I just get talked into betting against the hottest team in baseball?....

So I start getting a little paranoid about the situation.....and I'm listening to the game.... cringing with every pitch.... hoping Toronto is not going to blow this f'ing game....C'mon Koochie!!! Throw a gem for Cripes sake! Please!

So Jay's go up 1-0 pretty early. And I'm saying the rosary...LOL...only kidding....just an expression.

But I'm listening ever so intently....hoping that they can tack on or hold the lead....and then the Astros proceed to open a f*cking can on them!!

To the point I had to give up and turn my alerts off because the sh*t was quite frankly starting to annoy me.

So I had to basically chalk up a $200 loss by about the 7th inning.

At this point, I'm fuming....I can't go out like that....how am I going to get that back from these bastards before the sun goes down???.....

So I look at the slate

I saw the Yankees losing or lost... So there's the other big money drop...they offset Houston Big money with Yankees losing big money. So what's left on the slate? How are the books going to stick it to the public?

Red Sox winning but that's offset with CWS upset over Cleveland.

What are they going to do with these late games?

So I'm Still at work. But I gotta take my break and get this play in. I ain't got time to post squat. Just look at the slate...take aim and fire away! So I Looked at somebody else's pick, I'm not gonna say who, but somebody that's been pretty good lately.

and his plays of the day includes the Mariner's -120

I'm actually looking and trying to see the "flash" of the Mariners in that game like this guy was. Then I thought about what Bone said about Seattle whiffing like nobody's business. I looked again on the money dump on this game. It was lopsided on Logan Gilbert

I seen Kramer was slated for O's

He's a damn good pitcher and I saw that he was coming of IL

which makes a lot of bettors fade their first start coming off the IL

But I felt that they were in no way rushing his comeback. If he was ready to go then that meant he was ready to go.

And with Seattle's whiffing problem's I felt like he could definitely hold them. And have a quality start and give the O's a good chance. And then I'm thinking Astros are hot but so is Baltimore. They just overtook NYY for first place now they have a chance to extend their lead before the break.

I took Orioles.... but I was out for blood... I wanted my $200 back and I couldn't take any chancesI couldn't afford to lose more than 2 units. So I actually admit that I dug deep and took the Orioles runline +1.5 just to be as tight as I could be with these bastards.

If they're going to steal my money, then they were going to have to pay the rest of the world the Mariners -1.5 at like +180

I threw $600 on it at -190

Some people will scoff at that.

But sometimes when you're attempting to recoup losses....it comes down to probability.

And -190 is pretty a probable event.

It doesn't pay sh*t but that's how the books stay alive

So I won a little over $300 on that game and came out up over a unit for the day that started out miserable.

I paid quite a bit more for it but I made a more certain bet and the sweat was pretty easy too once O's took the lead.

Would have really sucked if I loss.... I'd be in the hole $800

Sometimes you gotta be able to pull that trigger when you are on a serious recoup and you ain't waiting around until the weekend to try and get that money back.
