I go back a long ways betting baseball since I was 15 years old, the rules all local bookies used is .......the game has to be an official game to win or lose your bet, an official game is 4.5 or 5 innings.

Now days each casino or betting establishment have their own so called ground rules.

That is correct on a run line bet. In theory the home team could have scored 11 runs in the last half inning. I believe the Yanks lost 2 massive leads in the 9th last year. Definitely bad luck.

Very common rule, all RL and totals are canceled on shortened games. Even if you had the over it gets cancelled.

Thank you GG. One reason I posted was that the first agent said he was “sending it up to his bosses”. After 12 minutes of waiting another agent told me the bad news, so I was getting conflicting info.

GG speaks the truth. I lost a big total at Fenway one year about the same as the Yankees score, rain shortened! Funny, you never get one that "saves" you!!!
