Let's think about what could actually happen...Once the betting markets in the US state by state open up local bookies are going to go away for sure..I'm sure some will still use them for credit betting or if they are lucky a bookie might offer some type of reduced vig..Still its not going to have the options that most legal books will have. I honestly think and this is just my gut feeling. If this is passed through the states, offshore will stay open for a bit longer, but they will make it a royal pain in the ass to get your money...Just in the last two months I've seen more complaints than ever. If the US and federal cats are on board and it's passed through government, I'm willing to bet you will see that FBI page like they had on full tilt and other poker sites when that online business was booming.,,The offshore sites are doing everything they can to hide funds from the US government, so ask yourself this...If they are willing to rip off the US government with certain laws, do you really think once all this goes down that they won't be ripping you off someday soon? They already have sportsbooks built in NJ and other states are building them now as well...They know once all the pockets get lined and everything is kosher, that law will be passed and the US books will open. My best advice and this is just a hunch that I have...The day the US books get the green light when they vote yes, try pulling your money out and see if you get it..I'd say half the sportsbooks wont sent you squat...I'd try pulling out everything I can now and searching for a local until your state is online. This will all have a bad ending for some folks who have big amounts in these sportsbooks, I'm tellin ya !!!!
