BIG 10 Anti pac 12 Teaser with added early game. Pays 2/1

    Guys, I know I know ORE/WAS/USC/UCLA are part of the BIG 10 now but i’m not sure they’re ready for BIG 10 Basketball. The aforementioned new additions (PAC12) are 4 and 10 (includs playing other pac12/BIG 10 teams) in BIG 10 play.
    Aside from beating up on each other, the pac 12 are just 2-6 vs TRUE BIG 10 teams so far.  6 of these games have been at home with 2 on the road both being losses. After a blowout loss to Michigan UCLA’s head coach Mick Cronin summed it perfectly not only for his team but for the rest newly christened BIG 10 teams formerly of the pac 12.. key word(s) being. “Too soft”

    Theres a reason #15 Oregon is an underdog to the currently unranked buckeyes Columbus  is a tough and hostile  place to play even for teams who are used to playing there and Oregon hasn’t even faced the Buckeyes in 33 years.
    They’re going to come away with a loss here and it doesn’t get any easier for the Huskies who are 14 point under dogs at #16 Michigan State, but we only give up 9. I make the same argument against Washington as  I did against Oregon “Too soft” they’re just not ready yet for BIG 10 play this will be something to watch going forward with these teams. I can’t wait for tomorrow to see how UCLA responds at Maryland. Stay tuned for that one. 
    As for The other BIG 10 team, (adding a college football play) this is gonna be a highly contested battle, but I’d rather get the 8 with Penn State than  7 with the Irish.      
    The last game thats my early wildcard is  a play on Arkansas Little Rock… I mentioned last  week that Arkansas little rock experienced a tragic death losing their student manager Josh Claxton, in an automobile accident. In their first game since the accident the Spartans came out and won in dramatic fashion at the buzzer. their second game was a letdown as expected both games were on the road.
    This will be the Spartans first game home since the accident. They're  a little short handed due to injury but they have a good young player in Kristiyan popov who stepped up last saturday  coming off the bench with  6 points with 2 rebounds, a block, a steal and an assist in 21 minutes. I believe he’s ready to step up and be ready to fill the void.
    I’m also expecting a little pregame tribute for Josh. Since this will be their first game home since the accident I’m hoping this will reinvigorate and inspire the team To go out and get that home win

    A lots been said about Mick Cronins  post game interview after the Bruins were hammered by Michigan 94-75 on Monday. Some negative and some  positive on how he conducted himself  postgame.      
    Cronin used words like soft & delusional. He said his players thought they were better than they actually were. And they didn’t belong in the BIG 10. Cronin didn’t just rip his team, He called his players out by name.
    But the bigger question from a betting/investing perspective or simply as a fan of the game is how is this team going to respond? as they play their next game on the road tonight in Maryland as 5 1/2 point underdogs dogs.
    Well, before they got walloped by Michigan. They were coming off of 66-58 loss to Nebraska. The Michigan game was the supposed to be their response; their statement game if you will. and they got beat down worse than they did at Nebraska.

    I believe cronin was justified with his frustration and tirade post game last Monday. With that said, coach Conan has a reputation of being a no nonsense hard nose hardline type of coach who doesn’t mince his words.  a coach that will bench you if you’re not playing hard enough .

    when these players signed their letter of intent,  to play at UCLA they knew exactly what they were getting into and who they were going to be playing for. Did they expect to be called out and criticized and ridiculed in the manner that they were? Probably not. but it takes a certain type of player to play for coach Cronin. It takes a certain type of player to want to play for Coach Cronin. 
    the team has had a week to get their thoughts and emotions together and let the dust settle so to speak. And if the team responds the way, I think they’re gonna respond. They’re gonna come out strong out of the gates.
    I think they dig deep here and come out firing on both ends of the floor UCLA is a better team than Maryland, not only do they need to believe it they need to prove it as well.

    A 5/1 Four teamer lost of meat on the bone today with a couple usual suspects in the mix

After struggling to start the season, (3-4) The Wildcats have since gone  8-2. Though, the 2 losses were on the road, they lost 86-79 @ Creighton and fell by 12 at St Johns after playing them tough till the last few minutes when the johnnies overtook them. With that said, I think Villanova matches up well with the Musketeers. Xavier is 2-5 L7 including just 1-2 at home they played 9th ranked Marquette tough losing by 2 on 12/21 and most recently losing by 10 to St Johns on their home floor last week. These two teams match up evenly and with Nova coming off a loss, I’m looking at a tight battle tonight that may possibly come down to the last shot i’ll take 5.5 in  a game that may come down under the wire.

I’ve had my criticisms of Providence in the past, on dealing with adversity and mainly on taking care of the rock. However, in their last three games starting at Uconn the Fryars only committed 10 turnovers in an 87-84 Loss as double digit dogs to Uconn. Just 8 in a home home win vs Butler at home and most recently 11 TO’s in a home 91-85 Win vs Seaton Hall on Sat. Bryce Hopkins is a GTD and if he plays today this line will drop.  I’ll take a team thats playing we’ll at plus DD points with or without Hopkins..

Still fading KSU go back a few pages in this thread, the narrative hasn’t changed here i’ll take the Red Raiders ML on the road here..
