Giddy-Up Saturday
It's a Giddy up Saturday in Churchill Downs and Santa Anita. First up I don't know what the weather is going to be like in Kentucky and as most races are for 2 year olds, it a worry in terms on betting, So most plays will be in Santa Anita and Horse's in Churchill are on my watch list, so I will be keeping an eye on them in the betting.
Churchill Downs
Race 7 - #9 Tswalu. 1st time out 2-y-o that comes with some noise from the stable. Interesting to see what the price will be.
Race 8 - #3 Cagliosto. A old friend of Giddy Up that let us down LTO. He came out of the stalls arse-ways and loss the race then, but he still ran on to be 3rd, which was a good run from what happened at the gate. Will be keeping a eye on #4 Mufasa brought in from South America and his last run was good, but will be more interesting if it is Sloppy. They all have to beat the Fav #7 Saudi Crown though.
Race 9 - #5 Good Cheer. Another 2-y-o, I liked the way she won her maiden LTO.
Race 10 - #6 Hit Show. Won 5 races from 7f to 1m 1f. A winner at 7-5 in the G3 WV Governor's Stakes at Mountaineer Park over 1m on his latest run last month, beating Heroic Move by 1/2l. Should go close.
I Will play the Daily Double in R9 & R10.

Santa Anita
Race 7 - #3 Divin Propos. A lightly race horse that has improved with every run, Beyer is rising with every start and I know he is thrown in the deep end in this race, but Philip D Amato would not run him if he was not up to it. Philip D Amato has 4 entered so that's a worry. I will still take a shot in him
Race 8 - #1 Johnny Podres, This horse loves 6 1/2 furlongs that runs downhill, He will be coming late with the #11 Big Invasion on the outside and the #2 First Peace in front, I will need the gaps to open and I think with Big Invasion to aim that in the home stretch and at 6 1/2f race that will give him enough time to get there and will be my Play of the Day.
Race 9 - #3 National Treasure. Pick your poison #3 National or #5 Muth. I went with the Treasure
Race 10 - #3 Johannes. I will stick with him until he is beaten, the #6 Trikari will have his supporters and keep an eye on the #8 Almendares could run a big race at a nice price.
I Will play the Daily Double in R9 & R10 again.
Race 8 #1 Johnny Podres is my Play of the Day.
That's it from me and may you have a great weekend and remember to gamble responsibly and stay safe. See ya.........
