Phoenix is 5-1 Ats as a home underdog this season. That 1 Ats loss happened on July 1 against Connecticut Sun. Phoenix Mercury we're playing with no rest in that game, they had just played the Indiana Fever the night before.

New York Liberty are 1-4 Ats off a loss this season.

1. Back on May 23rd they lost at home as a huge favorite against the Chicago sky. The very next game they did not cover against Minnesota. 

2. On May 25th they lost to Minnesota and the very next game they won but did not cover as a huge favorite against Phoenix. 

3. On June 18th they lost to Phoenix as a five-point favorite the very next game they did not cover against La Sparks.

4. On June 25th they lost the commissioner cup Championship game to Minnesota as a favorite. Very next game they did not cover against Atlanta. 

5. So the only game that they covered off a loss was when they lost to the Indiana Fever on July 6th. Very next game. They barely covered against the Connecticut Sun by half a point.

Phoenix has played New York Liberty very well this season. They match up very well against them. Back on May 29th Phoenix Mercury without Brittney Griner without Rebecca Allen barely lost against a completely healthy New York Liberty team. 81-78.

On June 18th, a completely healthy Phoenix Mercury team beat New York Liberty who did not have Courtney Vandersloot. 99-93... Rebecca Allen had 17 points in that game. She will not be playing today and for the New York Liberty Laney Hamilton is still a game time decision.

I truly believe this will be a very competitive game down to the wire.
