It doesn’t matter.  She’s very good.  A ratings bonanza for WNBA.  She fills arenas. One of the dumbest decisions that I can remember.  FWIW rookie Christian Laettner made the 1992 Dream Team.  Caitlyn Clark is in totally different category.   Rookie superstar that puts asses in the seats and eyes on TV.
