Molinari plays next week at the desert, let's see
Love the Stadium Course, the PGA Tour should seriously consider rotating the PLAYERS Championship between this course and TPC at Sawgrass
They never set up the course right though. It's a desert course, there's some wind, and it's wide open. Shorten it up to 6800-7000 yards or so, let the desert brush take the place of the rough and bake the fairways and greens so they're rock hard. All the hazards come into play even for the pros and the course becomes an absolute jungle. If it plays short you can always pop up a long iron or hybrid into the fairway and the ball will stop, so it's not unplayable.
(Similar story with Sawgrass. They should set it up like they did in'99. Water, water, everywhere!)
