Without seeing post positions or odds, my top 4 are:
1. War of Will (could be snakebit, horrible luck lately, but clearly most talented one in the race)
2. Alwaysmining (huge class leap, but looks like he belongs)
3. Anothertwistafate (a better trip last time out would've resulted in a Win in the Lexington Stakes)
4. Signalman (strong works coming in, only one poor result on his resume. Live longshot here)
Improbable is a toss for me, clearly not as good at age 3. Bourbon War and Win Win Win I see as prime Place horses. Will be using them underneath my exotics. Warrior's Charge and Bodexpress, depending on their odds, could be worth a small Win wager to salvage your losses and break even.
Not keen on Market King, Laughing Fox and Owendale. Hats off to them if they're able to pull this one out.
I may steer clear of the Kentucky Derby returners altogether. Something in my gut tells me they will underperform. From everything I've read on this race, your best value is going to land on Alwaysmining and Anothertwistafate, which puts me in a difficult position because I always fade lower level track horses in these Grade 1 events. They are almost always an underlay, but not this time. I may be forced to adjust my handicapping philosophies dramatically to pull out a profit in this one.
