Jody Demling has nailed eight of the last 13 Preakness Stakes winners. Last year he touted Cloud Computing (12-1) as a long shot that could win -- which is exactly what happened.

Demling then correctly said that Tapwrit would win the Belmont Stakes, and he also cashed his trifecta and superfecta bets for SportsLine members, creating a monster Belmont payday. Demling then nailed the Travers Stakes winner and hit the superfecta in the Breeders' Cup Classic. He then called the 1-2 finish at the Pegasus World Cup and predicted the winners of the Louisiana Derby, Arkansas Derby, and Humana Distaff.

And at this year's Kentucky Derby, Demling hit his 10th straight Derby-Oaks double. That means he held a ticket with the winners of each race for the 10th straight year.

With Derby winner Justify going for the second leg of the Triple Crown in the $1.5 million Preakness Stakes on Saturday at Pimlico (post time: 6:20 p.m. ET), Demling analyzed the odds and released where he says every horse will finish.

We can tell you he's loving Quip (12-1), the winner of the Tampa Bay Derby in March.

"Quip is well-rested since a second place finish in the Arkansas Derby last month," Demling told SportsLine. "He drew the No. 1 post position and will be near the front soon after the field breaks. He'll be right in the mix with a good chance if there is an upset. He has the same ownership group as Justify and they could finish 1-2."

Quip's owners elected to skip the Kentucky Derby in favor of the Preakness. and trainer Rodolphe Brisset said the Preakness "fits Quip the best." Quip has three wins in five career starts and only failed to hit the board in one race.

Demling is especially high on a monumental long shot that would net any backer a colossal windfall. Anyone who backs him could be in for a HUGE payday.

Here is Demling's writeup. His leaderboard was last updated on Wednesday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. ET:

Trainer Bob Baffert has won the Preakness Stakes with his four previous Kentucky Derby winners.

He'll try to make it 5-for-5 with the Derby winner on Saturday when Justify is one of eight horses that go to post in the Preakness Stakes. The race will go to post at 6:45 p.m. from Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

Justify will try to stay undefeated and continue towards the Triple Crown against a field that only has three other horses who ran in the Derby and four long shots that are hoping to play the spoiler role at the Preakness.

Here's the complete leaderboard:

—1. (7) Justify (1-2) - He was treated for a bruised hoof just after the Derby but is said to be fine; I think he could win this leg of the Triple Crown if he was only 85 percent, but trainer Bob Baffert says he's 100 percent. Breaks from the 7 post - the same as the Derby.

—2. (5) Good Magic (3-1) - He's clearly the second-best horse in the field and I don't think he can get past Justify. Looks for him to be close to the front and try to make a bold move down the stretch.

—3. (1) Quip (12-1) - He's rested since a second in the Arkansas Derby last month; he drew the No. 1 post position and will be near the front soon after they break. He'll be right in the mix with a good chance if there is an upset.

—4. (8) Bravazo (20-1) - In the Derby, Bravazo had one of the widest trips and made up ground in the stretch. He'll be in mid-pack here and has a chance if the fractions get too fast on the front end.

—5. (2) Lone Sailor (15-1) - In his nine career starts, his only in has come against maiden company and this group is a lot tougher than what he faced there. Did get bounced around a little in the Derby, but just not thinking he can improve that much in two weeks.

—6. (4) Diamond King (30-1) - Has won four of six career races and has the local connections; would be a bomb on the tote board and while it would be a nice story for the local guys this is a much tougher field than in his previous starts.

—7. (6) Tenfold (20-1) - Only three career starts, including a fifth in the Arkansas Derby, Tenfold hasn't shown me anything to suggest he can compete with the top tier horses on the Triple Crown trail.

—8. (3) Sporting Chance (30-1) - Has shown some talent, but he's winless in four starts this year and I just don't think he's up to the task here.
