Solid week at The Players. Let's hope we can keep the winners coming. New course for the Byron Nelson this week, so I'm basically playing current form, good or bad.
2*Cejka(+105) vs Lahiri
Fade on Lahiri here. In his past 5 events he has 3 MC and his best finish is 58th at the Valero Open. Cejka honestly isn't much better but his past 2 finishes are 27, 31. That's good enough for me here. There's no way Lahiri should be favored over anyone imo.
1*Mitchell(+140) vs Holmes
Fading J.B. here as well. He hasn't placed higher than 32nd in his past 9 starts and he has missed 4 cuts, including 3 out his last 4 events. Mitchell has done decent with a few Top 10's about a month ago. No way Holmes should be a favorite either. I'll take the generous plus money.
1*Putnam(+120) vs Power
Putnam has 3 Top 20's in his past 5 events. Power has played decent recently, but he has also missed 5 out of his last 10 cuts. I'll take the more consistent Putnam at plus money here.
1*Ancer(+105) vs Kraft
Pure fade one Kraft here. He has missed his last 5 cuts. Ancer was doing solid a month ago with 3 Top 20's. Just basically taking a stand against Kraft with his recent play.
1*Laird(-105) vs Wise
Laird has made 7 out of his last 10 cuts, including 3 Top 10's. Wise had a nice 2nd place finish at the Wells Fargo, but I'll take the more consistent Laird here.
As you can see, this week is more of a fade/follow based on the consistency or lack thereof in a player's game. With the Byron Nelson moving to a new course, we don't have course history to go off of, so this is the route I chose this week. Let's make some cash this week fellas and BOL in whatever you decide.
