Thanks bone. However with no tone whatsoever  and no ability to construct cohesive sentences, I respectfully disagree.  REALLY listen next season,  and you will find him stopping in mid sentence and going off somewhere.  I thought a nice clear pleasant voice was a must for announcers. Not with Romo.  Charles Davis (also cbs) has it all over Rome, IMO. Appreciate the input.

Hey FB, I haven't popped in to this thread for sometime. But I also agree, Romo sucks. Everything you said about him is 100%. Brady started out rough and he played a rehearsal role for a season before starting, but improved. Still not one of the better ones. Cheers buddy, see you in the fall.

I found something online-------Football fans were left fuming with Tony Romo's CBS coverage of the AFC Championship clash between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs, calling for him to be removed by the broadcaster-One fan complained: "For the love of God at NFL and CBS get rid of Tony Romo!!! #NFL," while another added: "I can't believe CBS sign [sic] Tony Romo to a 10-year $180 million contract. He's atrocious as an announcer & most people, including myself, can't stand listening to him.

I don't think he's as terrible as you all think.

He predicts plays that happen.

I would say he's mediocre. Definitely a lot better out there.

Terrible and was from the beginning. Never understood the hype. He'd guess 3 plays they were going to run and if they did one of them he was a genius. When he's usually wrong there's no mention of it. His voice is annoying too.
