I just read that the Seahawks are expected to trade Geno Smith to the Raiders . I truely hope that does not happen . The Raiders have to continue stepping away from getting washed up veterans . Smith is 35 and imo has always been a 2nd to 3 rd rate qb . If this team ever hopes to be a contender again in our lifetime that trade will set them up to continue to go backwards . The End ….

id be surprised to see that happen. only vet id be interested in trading for would be stafford, as the bridge to a rookie drafted this or next season. if vikes were up for trading mccarthy and keeping darnold id listen. id also be fine signing mariota for a year if raiders drafted qb relatively early but have him sit for a year.

Vikings are definitely not trading McCarthy and keeping that deer in the headlights Darnold! No f’ing way would Kevin Occonnell the qb whisperer keep Darnold over McCarthy, haha.
