so i know i he was "hurt" for a few weeks during the regular season (and Pittsburgh wanted to limit his snap count so they would only owe the Bears a 6th round draft pick instead of a 4th).

but now he's not even listed on this week's injury report at all. and yet DK and FD do not have him listed under the "TD Scorers" props menu. Was hoping that now that the playoffs are here and it's all-in must-win kitchen sink games... and Russ and the offense have been struggling, so why wouldn't they have occasion situational packages for Fields to come in and run a few safe RPO plays, especially in the red zone.

i thought he'd be a sneaky juicy play for Anytime TD but he's not listed on either site. and the menus go pretty deep with guys like Charlie Kolar, Mycole Pruitt, Ben Skowronek, Rasheen Ali, Devontez Walker.... (those guys all range from +1200 to +3100 odds for anytime TD). so why no Justin Fields listed?? Cowards.

It's not worth the risk for the limited snaps he might see that's probably why they don't offer it or they just don't know

Yea he's definitely a bit of a fringe player for sure.... but they offer TD props on 3rd string TEs and 4th string RBs... so why not a QB who has previously been in some redzone packages (and obviously started 6 games).

Aside from us potentially betting on a random Fields TD... if Pitt is smart they will work him in here and there to provide their offense with a much needed spark.

Funny when I was searching Twitter for any Justin Fields "news" I saw a bunch of people (regular folks, Steeler fans) saying he should start, etc. Didn't consider that that was even a remote possibility. Can't imagine they would actually do that, where are these rumors coming from?

I'm not a big Russell fan... he certainly had several moments this year where he was better than expected, but... he ain't the guy. I would still start him but definitely bring Fields in for some situational packages.

He was just added to DK.
Anytime TD is +900.

Still not up at FD.

agree with your assessment of the QB situation. I'm off most social media now so I'm missing that chatter (thank god) but heard from a friend in Pgh who is a second degree of separation from the team. In other words, just another jabroni w/ an opinion and a possible line to the locker room.

My guess is they are in fact working on packages him for this week.... and therefore jabronis like your friend and others are "hearing that Fields was working with the 1's" at practice and that spiraled into "rumors that Pitt is considering starting Fields."

I'm a Steeler fan by marriage (but living in ravens country) so really hoping the Steelers pull off the upset, but unfortunately Balt probably rolls them.

Will still bet small on Pitt+pts and nible the ML!
