I don't think Diggs moves a line in 2024. MAYBE 1/2 point.
Jets homefield is worth what, 1.5 pts? The boo birds will be ready to be heard if things don't look good.
So these teams are a pick em on a neutral?

Comment from Houston...though not a Texans fan. 1. Agree with you on Diggs. 2. Texans have had problems protecting Stroud, especially on the road. 3. Check Texans injury reports to see if they get some key people back on defense. 4. Check Jets injury reports for banged up defense. 5. Revenge game for Texans. Jets cheap shot concussed Stroud last year. 6. Could be a big Mixon game.

I’m gonna assume the Jets are laying because their numbers aren’t as bad as their record. But still.
Houston has hope and a coach/QB worth fighting for.
Jets have none of that, and pissed off fans.

Saw a stat the other day. Stand alone night games Jets & Giants combined are like 6-33 in those games in a certain time span.

Bad scheduling spot for the Texans. Houston will be playing its fourth game in 19 days -- three of them on the road.
The Texans will be missing their top two wideouts and are returning to the scene of their worst performance last year -- a 30-6 loss to the Zach Wilson-led Jets in December. C.J. Stroud was 10 of 23 for 91 yards in that game before leaving with a concussion. Before game time, the Jets have to replace the F***ing kicker that missed 6 field goals.
Houston may have lost Stefon Diggs to a torn ACL meaning their top two receivers (Nico Collins already on IR) will be shelved.
A must win for the Jets at home. I haven't bet the Jets as of yet this season, but they have my backing at -2-. BOL to all that play this one.

Also, the Diggs injury was already priced into the line as the initial reports were him missing a lot of time prior to the actual "season ending" announcement.  I agree with Capper in that they believe the Texans schedule is pricing the Jets favorite money. Also, they don't have the balls to just call it a push of -1.

Must win game for the Jets in many ways... but that coulda been said last weekend too facing a bad Patriots team just coming back from England

After simmering the stove for a couple days, I'm really leaning in the directions of the Jets and/or the under. Still working on it.
Lazard is out, which I actually like. Rodgers looks his way too often. Adams-Wilson-Gipson works for me.
Big factor in my eyes is how the Packers and Vikings treated the Texans. Get pressure after Stroud, and he struggles bigly. Jets #4 in sack %. I fully expect that to happen again. Run with Mixon? Ok, but the Jets are #6 in yards per attempt. #4 yards per play D overall.
Houston has good D and sack % as well, and Rodgers hasn't been very good. The Jets run game could have some success here though.
